Melanage Peel Skin Lightening System

The Melanage peel, is a very effective peel that is safe for all skin types. There are two types versions of the peel: A full Melanage peel and a Mini Melanage peel.

The Melanage peel is most commonly used to treat stubborn pigmentation from acne scars and melasma (brown patchy facial pigmentation affecting both men and women). It will also help improve skin tone and texture, and fine lines. This treatment leaves our patients with clearer, more beautiful, glowing skin.

The Melanage peel uses two ingredients, retinoid and Arbutin to penetrate the skin and treat discoloration of the skin while speeding up cell turnover. It involves a medicated masque and an at-home treatment regimen.

FAQ - Melanage Peel

Conditions Treated:

  • Dark acne scars
  • Melasma
  • Sun Spots
  • Poor Skin Texture

What areas can be treated:

The Full Melanage Skin Lightening treatment can be used on the face. The Melanage Mini may be used on the neck or chest.

What to expect:

  • The masque is applied during an office visit where it is freshly compounded to ensure its potency and reliability.
  • The full Melanage peel consists of a white masque that remains on the skin for 8 hours
  • The mini Melanage peel consist of barely noticeable yellow mask that remains on the skin from 2-4 hours depending on the skin type.
  • The client removes the masque at home after the required length of time has passed
  • There is an easy-to-follow, but strict, at-home regimen included with the treatment. It will include everything needed to care for your skin for 2-3 weeks.
  • The full Melanage peel may be required every 6-12 months.
  • The mini Melanage peel may require a series of up to 4 treatments that can be scheduled 3-4 weeks apart. However, we often see excellent results with 1-2 treatments.

After Treatment:

  • Most but not all patients experience peeling skin after the treatment. Peeling generally starts on day 2 or 3 and is at its worst for the first 3 days.
  • Your skin may feel tight and dry, similar to a sunburn, but it is not painful. Redness may be present for 1 to 3 weeks depending on the strength of the peel applied.
  • You will want to avoid heat and sun exposure after your treatment.

Dermalinfusion

Dermalinfusion is an advanced skin-resurfacing treatment that combines exfoliation, extraction, and infusion of condition-specific serums to improve skin health, function and appearance.

A patented, non-invasive treatment, Dermalinfusion is fully customizable and the perfect solution to address a wide variety of skin concerns and conditions from head-to-toe and is suitable for all skin types and tones.

By infusing the skin with serums at the moment of exfoliation, skin experiences maximum penetration of active ingredients at optimal skin depths, and enhanced serum absorption and retention receptivity at a deeper level.

Because of Dermalinfusion’s distinctive simultaneous technology, plumpness, volume, hydration, tone, and texture are optimized.
